A couple years back a local company called BTUs – Bed Bug Thermal Ultimate Service came to us needing a basic website to get a web presence. We built them a variation of a theme that suited their needs and got them started.
Bot not long ago they came back to us, more educated, more aware and much more specific in their needs. They have come to value SEO ( search engine optimization) and this time they didn’t want just a digital presence they wanted to dominate their competition when it came to SERP search engine results page). They wanted to leverage technology to really help them provide a better service, quicker in easier ways than they ever had.
The new website does that in a few ways. One is simply by helping them become a local authority on bed bugs. We’ve scoured high-ranking webpages about bed bugs and brought relevant information together in one place on the Bed Bug FAQ page. So users can learn about bed bugs, watch a video about bed bugs, see what’s in the news about bed bugs and dig much deeper into how bed bugs live and function if they want to.
We also created an Identify Your Bugs page. Our research showed some huge opportunities in the keywords area but also the idea that Ron and Larry’s expertise could easily be leveraged for Regina and area residents as well as others around the world. Potential clients can with no commitment or strings attached – send BTUs a picture or photo of their bugs and they will do their best to positively identify them as bedbugs or not. Uncertainty can lead to an in-person visit or even their specially trained dog to come sniff around. The result is an easy to use form that helps people with uncertainty doubt and fear get the facts and likely a shortcut to the solution as well.
